Once we have reached our maximum number we will create a waiting list for other participants. NOTE: Preference is given to participants of the first workshop, and we are specifically encouraging sophomores and juniors to attend.

NO. At this point in the registration process, we are only offering this opportunity to nominees from the first workshop. This helps ensure that we have committed members at our workshop, and provides some continuity for our participants. Registration Costs

The workshop is of NO $ COST to student participants. Light breakfast will be served at 9.30 am, and lunch is provided.

GOALS

The second of a three-part series, this workshop is designed to provide students the hands-on opportunity to:

  • Who am I and Who is my Community: local and global connections
  • Conflict Management and Social Justice
  • Creating a Social Justice Vision
  • Gallery and Marketplace
  • Action Steps

WHO ATTENDS THE WORKSHOP?

This experience is designed to target students who have shown an authentic commitment to social justice and diversity issues, and are looking for tangible ways to make a real difference in their communities. As a past participant in the series or someone who was nominated and expressed an interest in attending, you are a perfect participant for this type of experience! Specifically, you have been identified as someone who consistently demonstrates these important qualities:

  • passion and concern for human diversity issues and topics;
  • desire to make positive change in your community or organization; and
  • interest in learning about how to develop concrete strategies for social change.
