How Do I Get Credit for Participation in the Intergroup Dialogue Program?

You can register for up to three dialogue credits in a single semester, and six dialogues credits total as a part of your undergraduate degree program. You can register for more than six dialogue credits, but only six will count toward your degree.

To register for dialogue credit, you must go to Testudo and register for EDHI 338. You can only register for ONE credit in Testudo regardless of whether you intend to enroll in a 1 or 2 credit dialogue OR multiple 1 credit dialogues.

After you have registered for EDHI338 in Testudo, complete the “Words of Engagement On-line Registration Form” available at https://www.ohrp.umd.edu/registration. This form will allow you to identify the SPECIFIC dialogue or dialogues you want to take AND will record the TOTAL number of credits for which you want to be registered.

Additional credits will be added to your transcript through an administrative process later in the semester.
