Returning Student ProgramThe Returning Student Program encourages university staff and retirees, both on the College Park campus and within the University System of Maryland, to take advantage of employee tuition remission benefits by enrolling in academic courses. These tuition remission benefits are also available to the spouses and dependents of regular status and retired faculty and staff members. Tuition remission benefits are offered in accordance with the Board of Regents Policy VII-4.10. UMUC can help you get where you want to go! Degree Programs at UMUC UMUC, one of the 11 degree-granting institutions of the University System of Maryland, provides access to higher education for the global workforce by tailoring its programs, services, and delivery systems to the special requirements of the adult student population. Undergraduate and graduate degree programs may be pursued from anywhere in the world via the world wide web, while traditional UMUC classrooms can be found across the state of Maryland, in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Virginia, and in numerous locations overseas. Certificate Programs at UMUC Students may choose from more than 40 undergraduate certificate programs to position themselves for the next step up the career ladder.
